Your Nepal adventure begins as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. A representative from Debyani Tours will welcome you at the airport. You will then transfer to your hotel.

After you rest and refresh, your tour guide will meet with you. The guide will explain the highlights of your 7-day journey and answer any questions you have about what to expect. You will learn about the temples you will visit, the mountains you will see, and the experiences ahead.

In the evening, we will have an orientation session. This session will cover important information about your tour, Nepali culture and customs, safety guidelines, and what to bring for each day.

Your second day starts with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples. Explore the temples and witness spiritual practices as local priests and pilgrims gather here daily. You will experience the sacred atmosphere and learn about Hindu worship and puja rituals.

Next, you will visit Swayambhunath Temple, also called the Monkey Temple. This ancient Buddhist temple sits on a hill above Kathmandu. From here, you can see panoramic views of the entire Kathmandu Valley. You will see traditional Buddhist architecture and may see monkeys that live in the area.

In the afternoon, you will fly to Pokhara. The flight takes about 30 minutes. During the flight, you will see spectacular views of the Himalayan mountains from the airplane window. You will arrive in Pokhara, a peaceful lake city surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

After arriving in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel and relax.

Your day in Pokhara starts very early in the morning. You will drive to Sarangkot viewpoint to watch the sunrise. Sarangkot is on a hill above Pokhara. From here, you can see the entire Annapurna mountain range. As the sun rises, the snow-covered peaks turn golden and orange. 

After sunrise, you will return to Pokhara for breakfast. During the day, you will visit several important places. First, you will visit Bindabasini Temple, a sacred Hindu temple. Then you will see Devi’s Falls, a waterfall with powerful water flowing down. You will explore Gupteshwor Cave, a dark cave with a small shrine inside. You will also visit World Peace Pagoda, a white temple on a hill with views over the lake. Finally, you will see Pumdikot, another viewpoint with mountain views.

In the late afternoon, you will go boating on Phewa Lake. This is Pokhara’s largest lake. The water is calm and clear. You will return to your hotel in the evening.

Today is all about visiting Muktinath Temple, one of Nepal’s most sacred pilgrimage sites in the Himalayas. Mukthinath temple is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists and is believed to be a place of purification and spiritual blessing.

Your day begins very early in the morning. You will drive to the airport in Pokhara. You will board a domestic flight to Jomsom, a small town in the mountains.

The flight is short, about 30 minutes. But the views are spectacular. As you fly, you will see the mountain gorge. Snow covers the mountain peaks, and the view from the airplane is unforgettable.

You will land in Jomsom. This is a small mountain town. From Jomsom, you will drive for about an hour to reach Muktinath Temple.

You will pass through Kagbeni, a traditional village with old houses and local culture, while traveling through the stunning Mustang region. From the parking area, it’s a 15-minute uphill walk to the temple. If you prefer, horses are available for the last stretch, giving you time to prepare spiritually for your visit.

Muktinath Temple sits at 3,800 meters (12,500 feet) above sea level. This is very high in the Himalayas. The temple is one of Nepal’s most sacred and important pilgrimage sites. Both Hindus and Buddhists come here to worship and pray.

The temple is special because it has 108 brass water spouts. These spouts release natural spring water. Pilgrims believe this water has spiritual power. There is also a natural, eternal flame inside the temple. This flame burns from natural gas that comes from the ground.

The atmosphere at Muktinath Temple is very spiritual. You will see pilgrims from many countries. You will feel the peace and power of this sacred place. The views around the temple are dramatic, high mountains, rocky landscape, and clear mountain air.

After visiting the temple and experiencing the spiritual significance, you will return to Jomsom for an overnight rest.

The fifth day of your trip begins with a scenic mountain flight back to Pokhara from Jomsom. The flight takes about 30 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. 

Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to relax or explore at your own pace. The Lakeside area is the heart of the city for tourists, with shops selling local crafts, souvenirs, and handicrafts, including traditional Nepali shawls, jewelry, artwork, and blankets. You can stroll through the small streets, visit cafés and restaurants, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by Phewa Lake, watching the mountains reflect on the water.

For those who wish, a short boat ride on Phewa Lake is a perfect way to enjoy the serene water and stunning mountain views. Others may prefer to explore the alleys, visit local temples, or spend time at meditation centers for personal reflection.

In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and take a moment to reflect on your spiritual journey to Muktinath and the unforgettable Himalayan experiences.

Your final day begins with an early exploration of Pokhara’s Lakeside area. You will walk through the streets and shop at local stores and cafes. You can browse for souvenirs like traditional crafts, shawls, jewelry, and handicrafts. You can enjoy a final breakfast or coffee at a lakeside cafe while enjoying the mountain views.

After completing your shopping, you will transfer to Pokhara airport. You will fly back to Kathmandu. The 30-minute flight offers farewell views of the Himalayan landscape below.

You will visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Buddhist temples. It is a massive white dome with a golden top surrounded by prayer flags and prayer wheels. The stupa is surrounded by Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.

You will experience authentic Tibetan Buddhist culture here. You will see monks in their red robes. You can walk around the stupa in a clockwise direction, which is a traditional Buddhist practice. Many pilgrims come here to pray and meditate. The atmosphere is very peaceful and spiritual.

In the evening, you will return to your hotel for your final dinner in Nepal.
